Tepe Plaq-Search plaque disclosing tablets enable you to improve your oral hygiene brushing technique. These chewable tablets show you the plaque in your mouth, which is normally invisible, so you can see any areas you miss when you brush and floss. The two colour system allows you to see how different areas allow build up of longer term plaque.
To use the chewable plaque disclosing tablets, you should first clean your teeth with correct brushing and interdental cleaning, using floss or interdental brushes. After this is done, you should chew on the tablet, but do not swallow it. Red stains show new plaque. Blue stains show older plaque that is 12 hours or older. Next time you clean, try to remember the areas you have missed and then check with the disclosing tablets again to see if you have successfully cleaned them this time. Over time, use of the tablets will help to train you to clean your teeth properly, so you are not missing areas due to bad habits.
